What this website collects

This site has no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising tags and no third-party embeds. The only information it collects is what you type into the contact form.

Information you send us

When you submit the contact form we receive and store:

  • your name
  • your email address
  • your organisation, if you provide one
  • the service you selected
  • the project description you wrote
  • the date and time of the submission

We use this only to reply to your enquiry and to discuss the work you described. We do not sell it, share it for marketing, or add you to a mailing list.

Where it is stored

Submissions are stored in the database of this website, hosted on a private virtual server, and are also delivered to us by email. Access is limited to the people who handle enquiries.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept while a conversation is active and for a reasonable period afterwards so that we can pick up an earlier discussion. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time and we will remove it.

Cookies

This website sets no analytics or advertising cookies. Rails may set a session cookie that is strictly necessary for the security of the contact form (cross-site request forgery protection). It contains no tracking identifier and is not used to profile you.

Client project material

Material handled as part of a client engagement is governed by that engagement, not by this page. Our practice is to restrict access to the people working on the project, to agree retention periods in the project brief, and to delete source and working material on request when a project closes.

Requests and questions

To ask what we hold, to correct it, or to have it deleted, write to samuel@codelab-software.com. We will confirm once the request has been actioned.

Changes

If this notice changes, the updated version will be published on this page.
